At the BAU 2011 in Munich, the Bendorf (between Cologne and Frankfurt) based aluminium profile system supplier Akotherm GmbH (Ltd.) will be presenting a most impressive service spectrum for windows, doors, façades and winter gardens. A new, highly efficient heat-insulated front door system is revolutionising the way designers think.

The highly efficient heat-insulated door system AT 740 SI-D makes it now possible for Akotherm system partners to offer completely new contour design options for front doors. Of course, all of the classic, much valued, Akotherm processing advantages remain unaltered and are available for this new system, too.
“With every new system development and modification, our aim is to give the system partner carrying out a project, the processor, the highest level of practical use and processing security possible,” explain the Akotherm system developers.

The standard features of this new premium door system include, of course, sliding insulation bars to avoid the bimetal effect. The addition of central gaskets is one of the possible system options. In the comprehensive range of the AT 740 SI-D system, flush or hinged doors and doors for overlapping panel installation are also available. Connected fixed panels and window casements in the same design can be made without any difficulty.

An Akotherm consultant appreciates: “Aluminium profile system technology means more these days than ‘just’ the high quality interior. Especially in the use of these profiles - as windows, doors, façades or winter gardens - much attention is paid to the attractive design, thus clearly underlining and emphasising the high quality and challenging aesthetic demands on aluminium system solutions.”

“With every system variation, modification, extension and option, we always strive to offer our partners something ‘Akotherm-special’. Here at Akotherm we believe in a close cooperation based on partnership, finding optimal solutions together, absolute practicability and the ‘processing-friendliness’ of our systems,” asserts Frank Schneider, the managing director of Akotherm, talking about the company philosophy. He would be more than happy to introduce you, at the BAU 2011 in Hall C1, Stand 518, to all of the advantages of the practice-orientated Akotherm developments.

See Akotherm’s current and exciting innovations in Hall C1, Stand 518 at the BAU 2011 from the 17th to the 22nd January in Munich.
